Reporting to the Manager, Internal Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Associate supports the hiring of internal and external staff, from the initial posting of positions and receiving, reviewing and prescreening of applications, to the hiring of successful applicants and completion of the applicant process. The Associate provides guidance and advice to Managers and Directors regarding recruitment services, posting and recruitment requirements, collective agreement language, labour relations interpretation, and organizational hiring practices. Processes various documents electronically for successful applicant hires and transfers, and determines salary placement in accordance with collective agreements and hiring practices. May assist with the writing and placement of advertisements of vacancies.
This is a temporary position for a 6 month duration with an option of a hybrid remote/on-site position.
