The Opportunity
The City of St. Albert's Human Resources & Safety department has an exciting opportunity for a 1-Year Term Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, LR and Advisory Services the Talent Acquisition Advisor partners with Hiring Managers to identify and recruit talent that aligns with each client's unique culture and business needs. They will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating background checks and onboarding, while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for the hiring manager, interview panel and candidates.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment from identifying hiring needs and sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending job offers while ensuring positive candidate experience.
Review and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and optimize candidate experience.
Train and support hiring managers on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment best practices.
Administer the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), prepare recruitment reports, and participate as an alternate on the job evaluation team.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or other related field, combined with a minimum of 2 years related experience in full cycle recruitment Or A Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or other related field, combined with a minimum of 4 years' related experience in full cycle recruitment is required.
A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation (or equivalent) and Registered Professional Recruiter designations are an asset.
Hours of Work
We offer a compressed bi-weekly work schedule of 72 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, with a biweekly regular day off (RDO).
This position is required to work extended hours from time to time and to deliver training outside standard business hours. This can result in the incumbent being flexible to take RDOs at certain times.
Benefit from flexible work hours by adjusting your start and end times by 30 or 60 minutes around our core hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Compensation
The salary ranges from $74,544 - $91,747 per annum, including a comprehensive benefits package not including LTD or Pension.
