Job Summary

The Takeout / Barback is responsible for preparing beverages to company specifications, managing takeout orders, and supporting the bar team to ensure efficient, high-quality service. This role requires attention to detail, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Drink Preparation:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and portion standards. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and presentation of all drinks. Restock bar stations with liquor, beer, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout the shift. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tools, and equipment. Communicate effectively with servers and bartenders to ensure timely service.

Takeout Duties:

Greet and assist guests picking up takeout orders. Accurately take and process phone and online orders through the POS system. Package and label food orders properly to maintain quality and presentation. Double-check orders for accuracy and completeness before handing them to guests. Keep the takeout counter clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.

Support Duties:

Assist bartenders during peak hours by restocking and cleaning as needed. Help maintain bar inventory and report low stock to management. Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible service guidelines.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in bartending, bar support, or takeout service preferred. Smart Serve (or equivalent alcohol service certification) required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely. Excellent multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills. Must be reliable and available for evening and weekend shifts.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced restaurant/bar environment. Standing and moving for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Frequent guest and team interaction.

Wage:

$17.20 per hour
