Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient To-go Specialist to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest service by accurately and promptly handling take-out orders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service or restaurant environments. As a To-go Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for guests ordering food to-go, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with placing to-go orders via phone or in-person Accurately take and process orders using POS systems such as Micros POS Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette Prepare orders for pickup, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of the to-go area Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met Manage payment transactions efficiently and securely Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions or concerns promptly Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all guests Expediting food and packing orders correctly

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction Excellent communication skills and ability to handle phone inquiries professionally Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus Knowledge of serving and hospitality best practices is desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous hotel or restaurant experience is advantageous but not required Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed Working on Holidays (Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Etc)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
