Valid Ontario Security License
Minimum 1 year of Tactical Security Guard Experience.
Minimum 1 year of Tactical Security Supervisor or leadership-related experience.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to do any shifts which include Days, evenings and night shifts or rotation shifts.
Required to stand and patrol for long periods.
Customer Service Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of computer application skills
Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where arrests are made is an asset
A Diploma in Law & Security or Police Foundations educational background is an asset
Working Conditions
Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions when responding to or managing emergencies or incidents.
Duties:
This position reports directly to the Security Site Supervisor, George Brown Management and the Manager, Client Services.
Leading the team of Security Guards, Dispatchers and coordinating with other on-duty security professionals.
Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, tact, and diplomacy
Responding to various calls for service as well as providing first responder services for all security and life safety emergencies and incidents
Patrolling the interior and exterior of premises
Completion of Incident Reports and critiquing of security personnel Incident Reports promptly, to include ensuring Incidents Reports are complete, accurate, aligned with the Standing Orders, and distributed accordingly.
Enforcing property regulations, Criminal Code, and legislative statutes
Securing restricted areas
Facilitating access of vehicles and pedestrians at fixed posts
Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports Performing Customer Service-related functions
Identifying Safety Hazards Qualifications and Experience Required
Be physically capable of performing the required duties.
Basic knowledge and use of integrated security systems.
