TACTICAL SECURITY GUARDPermenant Part Time
Evenings
Sat / Sun (6am - 2:30pm)POSITION DESCRIPTIONAccess ControlWorking with a partner, Guards will be required to assist staff at a local homeless shelter. The primary purpose will be to assist staff at the main doors, and to help ensure their safety. You will be frequently interacting with persons suffering from drug addictions, mental illness, and intoxication.You will receive paid on site training, and will also be issued a tactical vest to use during the course of your duties.As a pinnacle Security Solutions provider, we are seeking experienced candidates only.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a valid MB Security Guard license. Please indicate your license number for verification purposes. Those who do not provide this number will be removed from the application process.

• Possess and be able to provide a clear Criminal Record check. (Must be dated within 6 months of application)
• Possess and be able to provide a clear Child Abuse Registry check. (Must be dated within 6 months of application)
• Must be physically capable of extended patrols on foot, and standing for extended periods.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess a valid MB Class 5 Driver License
• Must own a reliable vehicle.

Once within our ranks, you will be tasked with patrols and inspections of the properties we protect, with the goal of mitigating and responding to fire, theft, vandalism, illegal activity, and any other threats to the safety and security of our clients and their assets. You will be the first line of defense against many of these threats, and will often make the initial contact with appropriate Emergency Response organizations, such as EMS, Police, and Fire departments. You are a problem solver, and will make quick decisions under stressful situations.
