The Headlines:

In the role of Process Lead working in Toronto, Ontario you will be part of the Packaging Team. The process lead is expected to develop the operating teams' technical understanding and mastery of process control. The successful candidate is the Centerline and Changeover DMS owner for the T5 Bottle Line in our Toronto brewery.

This position reports to the T5 Line Lead and works closely with the Line trio, Team Leaders, operators and skilled trades.

The Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the Line Loss Analysis (PR Current/Future State)
  • Owns the Centerline Management system for the department
  • Leads process definition to identify Centerline targets and document standards
  • Develops control strategies to enable operators to respond to out of control situations
  • Owns integrity of Line Event Data Systems (LEDS)
  • Analyzes line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities
  • Leads root cause problem solving on key chronic losses for the line/department
  • Coaches teams on Centerline DMS execution and problem-solving skills
The Other Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing Supervision (People Leadership)
  • Packaging Technology; Container Cleaning, Conveying Filling/Closing, Inspecting Pasteurizing, Labeling, Packing, Palletizing
  • Experience employing data analysis methodologies using Microsoft Excel
  • Autonomous Maintenance; CIL, Centerline, Change Over (SMED)
  • Continuous Improvement Process & Methodologies
  • Bachelor's Degree - Applied Sciences with a minimum of 3-5 yrs directly related experience leading line operations.
