Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Systems Analyst to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various computer systems and network infrastructures.

Duties

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems, applications such as Microsoft Office, and specialized tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and Firewall configurations. Manage and support computer networking components including LAN, VPN, and firewall settings to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. Assist users with desktop support tasks such as hardware repairs, OS updates, and peripheral device setup. Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to prevent outages or disruptions. Document issues and resolutions using ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira for tracking and reporting purposes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades or new technology integrations. Provide help desk support with excellent customer service skills to resolve user inquiries efficiently.

Skills

Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, and firewall management. Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues using tools like Jira, BMC Remedy, or ServiceNow. Familiarity with hardware components and desktop support procedures. Ability to configure and support network security measures including firewalls. Knowledge of IT support best practices in a help desk environment.

Pay: $80,500.00 per year
