Systems Integration Specialist

. You will play a pivotal role in
designing, implementing, and managing multiple concurrent projects
across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
As a Systems Integration Specialist, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of integrated technology solutions--from initial client consultation and system design to installation, testing, and long-term support. You'll be responsible for ensuring that each project meets performance, security, and usability standards while staying on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Design & Planning
Lead the design of integrated systems including alarm, surveillance, access control, and AV setups tailored to client needs
Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and resource plans for multiple simultaneous installations
Create technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics using CAD or similar tools
Installation & Configuration
Install and configure alarm systems, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and AV equipment
Set up secure network infrastructures including routers, switches, firewalls, and VLANs for system connectivity
Calibrate and optimize AV systems such as boardroom conferencing, home theaters, and public address systems
Project Management & Client Engagement
Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Manage project milestones, procurement, and site readiness
Provide on-site supervision and quality assurance during installations
Testing, Documentation & Training
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure full functionality and compliance
Prepare comprehensive documentation including user manuals, system maps, and maintenance guides
Deliver client training sessions and post-installation support
Technology Leadership
Stay current with emerging technologies, standards, and best practices in security and AV integration
Recommend upgrades and improvements to existing systems
Mentor junior technicians and contribute to internal process improvements
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in
security systems
,
networking
, and
AV integration
Strong knowledge of IP networking, firewalls, VLANs, PoE, and remote access protocols
Experience with platforms and brands such as Hikvision, Axis, DSC, Crestron, Extron, Ubiquiti, and similar
Proficiency in reading and creating blueprints, technical schematics, and wiring diagrams
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ESA/NTS, or equivalent are highly desirable
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites across the region
