Our local Winnipeg, Manitoba client is seeking to hire a Systems Architect to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. They are hoping to find someone with a solid Networking and Security background that will assess, identify and solve various security and network issues. You will be responsible for developing and designing the network and security, creating policies, performing threat risk assessments, etc. ...

Responsibilities
  • Develop, design and maintain the security and network architectures
  • Develop supporting documentation, policies and procedures
  • Develop cyber security risk modeling and testing systems along with firewalls
  • Research and recommend new technologies for security and network
  • etc.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of networking/security experience
  • Strong experience in providing network and security architecture - this includes the design, implementation and support for large enterprise-scale environments
  • Experience working with Cisco (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Assets:
  • Various certifications including CCNP, Security, etc.
