Studios’ biggest brands, including DC Entertainment, the studio is dedicated to developing AAA videogames. Systems Architect WB Games Montréal, a division of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) is looking for a Systems Architect to join our Games Technology services group (GTS) team.

In this role, under the IT Director supervision, you will be responsible for identifying challenges and design, implement and document solutions. Day-to-day you will be participating in the continuous improvement of the Montreal studio GTS team projects and expected to support various of highly technically skilled individuals and a dynamic team of a video games development studio users. Responsibilities

• Working with the game production team to identify challenges and technical pressure points.
• Architect and design solutions to address production needs.
• Identify new technologies to improve performance, efficiency, and security.
• Document new systems and provide hand-off guides to the operations team.
• Acts as a reference for all technologies and provides technical coaching to the GTS team.
• Act as level 3 support for the studio GTS team
• Participate in maintaining and administering the existing infrastructure.
• Participate as subject matter expert in global initiatives.
• Provide and maintain updated documentation for all systems supported.
• Manage and lead projects.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience working in an IT environment.
• 5+ years as a Microsoft specialist or equivalent working primarily with the following technologies: Active Directory, Exchange, O365, SQL Server, PowerShell.
• 5+ years of experience with the following technologies: SCCM, SCORCH, Automations
• 3+ years of experience of Cloud SaaS, IaaS, with AWS, Azure, etc.

Education

• College or University degree in information technology or relevant discipline.

Knowledge/Skills

• Proven ability to implement new technology and carry out 3rd line support.
• An understanding of and an interest in emerging technologies and industry standards.
• Microsoft certified MCITP enterprise or MCM/MCA.
• Good knowledge of VMWare.
• Knowledge of Atlassian’s Jira.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to participate to the team’s well-being and improvement.
• Having a sense of customer service, leadership, and coaching abilities.

Bonus points: (Desired but not required)

• Knowledge of version control software (e.g. Perforce)
• Experience with management of a NAS or SAN solution.
• Having a Cisco CCNA/CCNP qualification or a full understanding of IP networking/routing.
• Fluent French speaking and writing.

Other Requirements

• Willing to work outside of the standard working hours occasionally as required.
• This job is hybrid and requires a presence at our downtown offices based on a determined schedule.

Dans ce rôle, sous la direction du directeur TI, tu seras responsable de l’identification des défis, de la conception, de la mise en œuvre et de la documentation des solutions proposées. Au quotidien, tu participeras à l’amélioration continue des projets informatiques de l’équipe GTS du studio de Montréal et tu soutiendras diverses personnes hautement qualifiées sur le plan technique et une équipe dynamique d’utilisateurs dans un studio de développement de jeux vidéo. Responsabilités

• Travailler avec l’équipe de production de jeux pour déterminer les défis et les points de pression techniques.
• Concevoir l’architecture des solutions technologiques pour répondre aux besoins de la production.
• Identifier les nouvelles technologies dans le but d’améliorer les performances, l’efficacité et la sécurité.
• Documenter les nouveaux systèmes et fournir des guides de transfert de connaissances à l’équipe des opérations.
• Agir à titre de référence pour toutes les technologies et fournir un coaching technique à l’équipe GTS.
• Agir en tant que support de niveau 3 pour l’équipe du studio GTS.
• Participer à l’entretien et à l’administration de l’infrastructure existante.
• Participer en tant qu’expert.e en la matière aux initiatives globales.
• Fournir et tenir à jour la documentation pour tous les systèmes pris en charge.
• Assurer la gestion de projets.

Expérience

• Plus de 10 ans d’expérience de travail dans un environnement informatique.
• Plus de 5 ans en tant que spécialiste Microsoft ou l’équivalent travaillant principalement avec les technologies suivantes : Active Directory, Exchange, O365, SQL Server, PowerShell.
• Plus de 5 ans d’expérience avec les technologies suivantes: SCCM, SCORCH, Automations
• Plus de 3 ans d’expérience avec Cloud SaaS, IaaS, avec AWS, Azure, etc.

Éducation

• Diplôme collégial ou universitaire en technologie de l’information ou dans une discipline pertinente.

Connaissances/Compétences

• Capacité éprouvée à mettre en œuvre de nouvelles technologies et à effectuer un support de 3ème niveau.
• Une compréhension et un intérêt pour les technologies émergentes et les normes de l’industrie.
• Avoir une certification Microsoft MCITP entreprise ou MCM / MCA.
• Bonne connaissance des VMWare.
• Connaissance de Jira (Atlassien).
• Excellentes compétences en communication et volonté de participer au bien-être et à l’amélioration de l’équipe.
• Avoir le sens du service à la clientèle, du leadership et des capacités de coaching.
• Capacité à parler et écrire en anglais de façon fluide avec nos partenaires de la maison mère américaine.

Points bonis: (souhaité, mais non requis)

• Connaissance des logiciels de contrôle de version (ex : Perforce)
• Expérience de la gestion d’une solution NAS ou SAN.
