About the Role


We're seeking a proactive

Systems Administrator

to join our technology team at our Vancouver head office.

This is an onsite role.



In this position, you'll provide end-to-end IT support, manage critical infrastructure, and contribute to strategic projects that enhance reliability, security, and scalability across the organization. How you will make a difference:


Helpdesk & User Support (Approx. 65%)



Deliver Tier 1-3 support via phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly to ensure user satisfaction. Manage user lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding) and device imaging. Maintain end-user hardware, printers, phones, and accessories.

System Administration & Maintenance



Administer and maintain Active Directory, Entra, Windows Servers, and related services, including Group Policy, certificates, and security configurations. Manage Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online) and ensure compliance with security and governance standards. Configure and maintain Microsoft Teams Phone System and Operator Connect. Support virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage systems. Maintain Meraki enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless). Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and configuration of servers and applications. Execute data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Projects & Continuous Improvement



Participate in IT projects and infrastructure upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions. Assist with testing new technologies and improving IT processes. Maintain documentation and knowledge base in Confluence.


What makes you a great fit



Experience: 4+ years in IT support or systems administration roles. Education: Degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Technical Expertise:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft stack (Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy). Networking fundamentals: Cisco Meraki, TCP/IP, IPSEC, SD-WAN, VPN. Virtualization: VMware or Hyper-V. MDM systems and PowerShell scripting. Familiarity with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, etc.). Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred skills

Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments. Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA). Knowledge of SQL Server and query writing. Experience with enterprise backup solutions (e.g., Veeam). Familiarity with Zebra scan guns, thermal printers, and retail/Ecommerce environments. Exposure to DevOps practices.
