Hello, I\'m Guillaume, senior recruitment and business development consultant at Fed IT, a recruitment firm specializing in IT recruitment.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
Our team of IT experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover the IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure professions.

YOUR MISSIONS
I am currently looking for a system administrator for one of our clients located in Granby. This is a permanent position - on site, on a 35 hour per week basis. The salary offered varies according to experience ($70,000 - $80,000).
Your duties will be:

• Ensure the proper functioning of the network, databases and management of the computer equipment fleet
• Install, configure and test new workstations, peripherals and servers
• Ensure the protection of equipment and data (access management, firewalls)
• Perform server and network equipment administration (routing, wifi)
• Manage telecommunication equipment (IP and digital phones)
• Install the necessary updates of the applications used
• Provide technical assistance to users
• Write policies and procedures for the proper functioning and security of technologies
• Participate in the implementation of technology projects, developments and changes in the organization
• Perform any other task necessary for the smooth running of operations

YOUR PROFILE

• College diploma in computer science or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
• Knowledge of VMWare
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN/IP technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Great autonomy, sense of initiative and observation
