Clifton is currently searching for a Systems Administrator to join our IT Operations Team. As the Systems Administrator, you will report to the IT Manager and become part of a skilled team which supports the organization?s information technology environment. Your responsibilities will include Your broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and operations will be critical to your success. Remote work is an option for our Systems Administrator position. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and networks.
  • Maintain essential IT operation, including servers, email systems, security tools, software, and others.
  • Monitor the network and telephone systems for reliability and security purposes, ensuring adherence to Clifton?s security policies.
  • Manage hardware and software inventory; Support/maintain on-site, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or IT Certificate(s) would be an asset.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL standards; ITIL certification an asset but not required.
  • Proven experience implementing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure (on-site, hybrid, cloud).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Experience working with AWS, Office 365, Egnyte, Zoom, Windows Server, SQL Server, Meraki Networks, Palo Alto Networks, Veeam Backup & Replication, PRTG, TrendMicro products.
  • Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • General networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, WIFI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Canada (10%).
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
