The role

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, as a System Technician you will be hands on with all the different functions required to serve our customers. As part of a small team, you\'ll be involved with everything from providing an exceptional experience in our customers\' homes to building and maintaining our extensive Fiber Plus network. Our System Technicians are truly jacks-of-all-trades.

A typical day

• Will involve anything from warehousing duties to expanding our Fiber Plus network into a new neighborhood.
• Generally working outdoors
• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders and working in a hydraulic lift truck.
• In this role, you will be part of an on-call rotation, which means you may be required to come in after hours if required.

Your skills/experience

• Maintain a valid full class-5 driver\'s license with annual abstract review
• Comfortable working outside year-round
• Strong time management skills
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Performs work with safety top of mind and adheres to all safety requirements
• Customer-centric focus, and commitment to quality control excellence
• Technical aptitude, with a desire to stay up to date on the latest industry trends
• Self-starter who can discover, develop and coordinate projects
• Physically able to perform all aspects of job including working at heights, heavy lifting, and maneuvering through crawl spaces
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule and be available on call when required.
