Main responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Design and integrate landing gear components, assemblies and systems to meet customer requirements \xc2\xb7 Identify component and system characteristics with respect to their individual requirements \xc2\xb7 Clearly identify, document and track compliance with regulatory authority systems regulations and customer requirements. \xc2\xb7 Prepare system, subsystem and component specifications, and system supplier technical SOW (statement of work). \xc2\xb7 Identify component key characteristics; \xc2\xb7 Review and approve subsystem and component supplier\xe2\x80\x99s design and performance specification for compliance with Authority, MAI and Customer requirements and integrated system requirements. \xc2\xb7 Review and approve subsystem and component supplier acceptance test procedures. \xc2\xb7 Review and approve subsystem and component supplier\xe2\x80\x99s development and qualification test procedures for compliance with MAI and Customer requirements and integrated system requirements \xc2\xb7 Review and approve Reliability and Safety reports for compliance with regulatory requirements \xc2\xb7 Define test articles, test requirements and criteria for system internal development and qualification testing. \xc2\xb7 Generate system performance reports \xc2\xb7 Manage sub-system suppliers; \xc2\xb7 Monitor, coordinate and integrate the system design, development, test and certification activities of subsystem suppliers. \xc2\xb7 Produce reports to substantiate systems compliance with A/C systems certification requirements, design integrity, function and safety of flight.. \xc2\xb7 Assist Cost Focal point in generating product cost data when required \xc2\xb7 Generate cost and time schedule estimates to plan overall project performance; \xc2\xb7 Define test articles, test requirements and criteria for internal development and qualification testing; \xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as required. 1 Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of Landing Gear principals and associated systems methodologies \xc2\xb7 Good understanding of hydromechanical, electrical and electromechanical components \xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of Catia V5 \xc2\xb7 Proficiency of MS office suite; \xc2\xb7 Ability to understand system components dependencies; \xc2\xb7 Ability to solve complex technical problems; \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a team and a client oriented environment. **Salary: 86 244.00$ - 99 180.00$ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $86,244.00-$99,180.00 per year Benefits:
