About Our Opportunity

As the System and Grant Services Administrator, you are accountable for all transactional processing and reconciliation of grant funding, ensuring funding criteria have been met prior to issuing funds. This includes funding eligibility, client history and profiles, ad-hoc requests, year-end processing, and accountability reporting.

In support of the department\'s overall program administration and operations, you will be responsible for financial monitoring and analysis, producing periodic schedule and expenditure status reports, reconciling expenditures and recoveries, maintaining files and records for the reconciliation of funds, accruals, actuals and commitments spent to budget, briefing materials, assessment committees and the coordination of departmental updates by presentation to senior management.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Lead quality audits and produce related financial reports for executive and senior management
  • Complete service requests, system enhancements, and annual system upgrades
  • Troubleshoot between all integrated systems
  • Collaborate with the manager regarding budgeting, forecasting and expenses
  • Prepare department uploads, grant funding commitments and reallocation or resource recommendations
  • Funding eligibility, client history and profiles, ad-hoc requests, year-end processing, accountability reporting, briefing materials, assessment committee and the coordination of departmental updates
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you have a post-secondary degree in a related field plus one year of related experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

You have technical experience working within financial and/or grants management software as well as a strong skillset using Microsoft office programs with a focus on Excel. You excel in a client-orientated environment applying the concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion to all areas of your work and support your colleagues to do the same.

You have experience partnering and building productive relationship supporting your team, senior management, and corporate shared services teams. You have a strong focus on attention to details and accuracy with the ability to handle large quantities of data.

In addition, you also possess the following:
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and research skills using both analytical and conceptional thinking as it relates to applications, systems development, financial analysis and auditing
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • A demonstrated ability to enable positive change and innovate; and an ability to communicate with tact and discretion in a clear, concise manner
  • Financial management experience
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • A results-oriented approach with a high level of initiative and motivation
Equivalency

Applicants relying on education and experience equivalencies must demonstrate such equivalencies in their application.

Assets considered for this position:
  • Technical experience working with SAP CRM/Grants Management and SAP financial software
  • Experience with grant application lifecycles

Pay Grade: PR 06 - PR 10

Salary Range: $1,915.37 - $2,746.69 Bi-Weekly
