Responsibilities & Expectations:


We are looking for a skilled Switchgear or Transformer Field Service Specialist for our Canada Field Service Division.Inspect, test, and maintain low, medium, and high voltage electrical power distribution equipment. Partner with sales team to draft quote proposals for future work. Provide technical guidance to the team and to customers. Draft and finalize inspection and maintenance reports for customers in conjunction with other technicians. Develop new customer interest by partnering up with sales team for onsite calls. Support existing customer base by providing World Class service.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Minimum of 5 years of low, medium, and high voltage switchgear testing, repair, and quoting. 2+ years' experience working with low and medium voltage pad mount transformers - testing, oil sampling, and component change out preferred. 3 years' experience working with protection relays. NETA certification preferred. Electrical journeyperson or Certified Engineering Technologist required at minimum. Strong analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Able to work overtime when needed. Willingness to travel and work away from home as customers require. Valid driver's license throughout employment.
