Aureus has the largest fleet of Hot Oilers in the Grande Prairie Region and we are currently hiring a Swamper with relevant pumping experience to work with Hot Oilers. - Drive, rig-in/rig-out, operate, and maintain class 3 Hot Oiler truck and related equipment
- Ensure paperwork is current including, but not limited to: maintenance schedules, log books, pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and procedures and ensure compliance with HSE legislation and DOT regulations
- Monitor conditions and maintenance of all equipment with a focus on safety and environment
- Safe operation of trucks and equipment
- Driving or industry related experience an asset
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license. (No GDL, Class 3 License an asset)
- Must be able to provide a clean 5-year driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
- Must maintain all required safety tickets; including, but not limited to: First Aid, H2S Alive, WHIMIS, Site Orientations.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening
- Physical requirements include bending, safely lifting up to 20 kgs, working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment
- Able to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work safely wearing a respirator and/or Self-contained Breathing Apparatus
- Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
- No relocation assistance provided; must reside in the Grande Prairie Region or be able to get yourself to the region for work
- Travel to remote regions on winter roads with potential to work alone
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Willing to comply with Aureus\xe2\x80\x99 drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
- Willing to work in a diverse and team-oriented environment
