Position SummaryThe Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina invites applications for one Sessional Lecturer to teach the following hybrid (sync) face to face in Yorkton & remote delivery via zoom (sync) course during the Fall 2025 semester:SW 100 - Foundations in Social Work
This course explores social issues confronting the state, social welfare agencies and social workers in addressing and responding to societal inequalities and human need. Students will also be introduced to the roles and fields of practice in social work in Canada and the values and ethics that guide the profession.The semester class period is from September 2, 2025 to December 5, 2025 with the final exam period running from December 9 to 22, 2025.Sessional Lecturers that are hybrid classes are expected to teach 13 synchronous classes throughout the semester.Expectations for Sessional Lecturers include, but aren't limited to, the following:
