Further information is available at .POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Director, Sales and Business Development, this position is responsible for the development, management, and customer reporting related to North American Bus and Coach Public Sector contractual commitments for sustainable business practices.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Review customer specifications, contracts, industry standards and federal procurement requirements to identify sustainable business practices required to bid public sector contracts.
  • Lead cross-functional contributors through the review of sustainable business requirements in procurements.
  • Develop and maintain a central repository of requirements, certifications, and supporting documentation for bid certifications and compliance audits.
  • Identify potential future requirements utilizing data from the sales funnel, customer health dashboard, CRM database, Master Production Schedule forecast and other support documentation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations team to determine upcoming grants and notice of funding opportunities with sustainability commitments.
  • Monitor industry and competitor sustainable business programs to evaluate trends and develop strategies to maintain a competitive position in the market.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sustainable business contract commitments.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to obtain a clear definition of customer needs and expectations to ensure appropriate industry messaging.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • University degree in Business, Political Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with sustainable business practices, B2G contractual terms and conditions and grant writing.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage time and competing demands effectively.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
