Our department contributes to building sustainability by improving energy performance, enhancing occupant comfort, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We conduct technical studies, perform energy modeling, support environmental certifications, and identify financial incentives to help advance projects (HQ, Energir, Ecoperformance, etc.).

Your main responsibilities:

Conduct technical studies for both existing buildings and new construction projects. Perform energy audits to assess current consumption and identify improvement opportunities. Carry out energy calculations, including consumption analyses and potential savings estimates for energy efficiency measures using various platforms: EXCEL, eQuest, Energy+, IESVE, etc. Perform technical surveys of mechanical and electrical building systems. Write clear and detailed technical reports documenting analyses and recommendations. Collaborate closely with project teams, providing technical support to project managers and senior staff. Investigate mechanical, electrical, and control systems to recommend optimizations. Participate in other related tasks, including administrative responsibilities.

Your Profile :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Engineering. Member of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ) as an Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) or Professional Engineer. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in French, both spoken and written. English proficiency is an asset. Pragmatic approach focused on actionable and practical solutions. Strong analytical mindset and technical rigor to solve complex problems. Intellectual curiosity with a keen interest in continuous learning and new technologies. Autonomy and sense of responsibility, able to carry out tasks proactively. Team spirit and strong collaboration skills. Valid Class 5 driver's license (an asset).
