We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards. Duties

Prepare and assemble sushi dishes with precision and attention to detail, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards Handle food ingredients safely, adhering to all food handling and safety regulations Assist in meal preparation, including cutting, rolling, and packaging sushi items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and storage areas Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in quality Serve customers directly or assist with sushi orders as needed Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management Ensure all food served is fresh, safe, and of high quality

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service, especially in sushi or Japanese cuisine, is beneficial Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation Focus on customer satisfaction Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Kitchen experience within the food industry is advantageous Familiarity with restaurant operations and food industry standards is desirable Passion for culinary arts and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
