Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and care.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and presentations.
Provide exceptional service by ensuring that every dish meets quality standards before serving.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant setting, is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques.
Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking, with an emphasis on sushi techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
