You will be working with our culinary team to prepare delicious dishes for our guests. This is a unique opportunity to work at Canada's fastest growing hand roll bar. Responsibilities:
Report to and follow the Head/Sous Chef's instructions regarding food preparation and safety
Prepare food according to Hello Nori Quality Assurance standards in a timely manner
Complete morning and afternoon preparations for core products
Memorize and precisely follow recipes, procedures, and presentation guidelines for each dish
Cooperate with BOH staff in preparation and cleaning duties
Assist with stocking and inventory of supplies
Organize fridge/freezer and kitchen storage areas
Comply with food, health, and safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
1+ years of experience working in a kitchen/BOH
Knowledge of various types of fish and Japanese cooking techniques
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Food Safe Level 1 certification minimum
Availability to work during hours of operation, including evenings and weekends
* Must be legally able to work in Canada
