Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a large heavy civil construction company specializing in heavy civil excavation and flatworks, pipeline placement, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Our team has a project in

Lunenburg, NS

starting December 1 and expected to run through all of 2026. We are looking to hire qualified individuals that live within a reasonable commute to our jobsite to join our team for the duration of the project.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of surveying experience, preferably with Trimble Equipment. Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training. Proficiency with Robotic Total Station as well as GNSS survey equipment is required. Previous experience using CAD (Carlson) and Trimble Access considered an asset. Valid class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Strong oral and written communication skills. Work well in a team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide control lines and elevations required for accurate measurements and correct installation of materials. Collect data using GPS/Total station ensuring quality control at all times. Coordinate with co-workers and management to ensure the proper requirements are being met. Maintain company equipment. Perform all work in a safe and secure manner. Other duties as required.
