Secure Defence Corporation, a rapidly growing Lower Mainland video surveillance and security company, is hiring full/part time monitoring centre operators for weekday and weekend shifts . Job is based in Richmond.
We are looking to fill 2-3 Weekdays also possibly Weekends 1500-2300 hrs
Flexibility will help to cover few sick's here n there. Must be available to start Training immediately upon Hire.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must be 19 years old and meet all other minimum requirements for a security license in the Province (no criminal record)
- Excellent English communication skills; written and oral
- Experience in using computers / Microsoft Office
- Punctual and Responsible
- Nice to have: own transportation
- At this time we seek people who are flexible & able accept any shift.
- Able to converse fluently in English as constant interaction with clients and Police occur on everyday basis.
Job Duties:
- Carefully monitor remote customer sites utilizing state of the art surveillance system and follow protocol in case of an event
- Log and document all incidents and create a report
- Respond to events and dispatch emergency services (fire, police, ambulance) as well as report all suspicious activities to supervisors and customers
- Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
No experience is necessary, all training will be provided. Employer will pay and help with getting BC Security Workers license (must have a clean background, no criminal record).
