Your tasks at a glance



You sterilize instruments and set up tools as needed. You reassure patients before and after their procedure and ensure they feel at ease showing empathy. You clearly explain the post-operative medication (eye drops) schedule to patients. You coordinate the flow of patients in and out of the operating room. You are comfortable working on your feet in the operating room. You are a stickler for details and work with precision and accuracy.

You have a sense of responsibility and take your role seriously. You have a definite interest in the field of health and high-tech devices. You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset). You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust. Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometric assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.). You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et francais egalement(advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).

Schedule:

You are available to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 am until the end of the surgery schedule (flexibility required for occasional Saturdays).

Pay: $19.52-$22.18 per hour
