Job Description

We are a dynamic Company servicing all of Ontario in the Aggregate Surface Mine Industry looking for a Site Foreman to:

oOversee daily plant operations including site set-up, running, dismantling, and moving

oHave involvement with employee recruitment, selection, training and development

oDevelop and implement company plans, safety standards and quality practices

oStrategic approach to review equipment and processes

Educational and Training Requirements

o3-5 years working experience in a pit or quarry with increasing responsibility in a management role

oGeneralist background with broad knowledge of all aspects of the aggregate industry including organizational/strategic planning, employee management etc.

oMechanical aptitude with Basic Trouble Shooting and Maintenance knowledge of aggregate crushers, screening plants, conveyors, stackers and bins, generators, pumps, classifiers, loaders and bobcats

oExtensive knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant codes, standards and specifications.

oSafety Training including WSIB I and WSIB II Certification an asset

oPost Secondary Education an asset

oManagement training (technical and soft skills)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
