Responsibilities:

Manage crew, equipment, and subtrades to complete projects on time/budget Collaborate with Superintendent, Project Management Team, Subcontractors, and Clients to ensure all aspects of the project are completed as expected Reading construction drawings, coordinating the days tasks, and managing associated paperwork Leader in health and safety as well as company culture Planning for upcoming work and communicating requirements to Superintendent and Project Management Team Working with the crew for all operations including earthworks, excavation, underground utilities, and surface work preparation
Skills and Experience:

Prefer 4+ years of experience in Civil Construction with at least one year supervising employees Ability to lead, motivate, and promote growth within your crew Ability to read and understand construction drawings Familiar with mass excavation, preparing sites to grade, and installation of utilities In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, specifications, equipment, and OH&S guidelines Strong work ethic, accountability, and positive team attitude
Requirements:

Must have a current and valid Class 5 driver's license/ drivers abstract Must be eligible to work in Canada
Survey experience is considered an asset
