RAPS is Seeking a Support Worker to assist an Individual with a Cognitive Disability (A83)

LOCATION : Beaumont, AB

Hours : 25 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm

JOB DESCRIPTION : Duties include but are not limited to cueing daily living, incorporating useful strategies to build a structured schedule, healthy meal preparation, assisting with household duties (fold laundry, tidy bathroom), show attentiveness towards client's interests (e.x History), accompanying on outings including client transportation, employment coaching, redirecting, and companionship.

QUALIFICATIONS : Must have a recent criminal record check with the vulnerable sector, driver's license/vehicle and be comfortable with client transportation, non-smoker, and be comfortable working in a pet friendly home. Ideal candidate will be friendly, understanding, compassionate, and a positive role model. Preference given to those living in Beaumont. Must have the ability to redirect without being authoritative.

Rate Of Pay: $18.00/Hour + mileage for the use of your personal vehicle on outings with client (Potential for a rate increase after probation period)
