is currently accepting applications for supply positions of Early Childhood Educators and Assistants from qualified and motivated candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing child-care programing that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
Guide and assist children in the development of eating, dressing and toilet habits
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
Work in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials
Adhere to all centre policies and procedures
Follow all guidelines according to Ministry of Education CCEYA and "how does learning happen" pedagogy
Other related duties
Base pay based on experience plus $2.00 WEG (base + $2.00 RECE ONLY)
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a CURRENT Vulnerable Sector Check from the Regional police within the last 6 months
Current CPR/ First Aid Certification from an approved location
RECE or experience in a classroom is an assest
The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Experience in planning and implementing programs an asset
Fluent oral and written English language communication skills;
Skilled at working both independently and within a team context.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search before beginning work

This is a supply position, on call day to day, no guaranteed hours. Schedule: Monday to Friday. 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
