Brookstone Academy is an innovative non-profit private school, centrally located in the countryside of Oro-Medonte. We are currently seeking supply teachers for occasional teaching from JK - Grade 12 with the possibility of becoming part or even full-time in the future. Brookstone offers a caring small group learning environment for direct instruction as well as whole group experiential, project based learning that is driven by student interests. Our low student-teacher ratio allows us to differentiate and individualise programs for each student. We prioritise the use of kindness and compassion in all our interactions with students, other teachers and parents, and pride ourselves on the meaningful relationships and constant communication we have with our families. Students also have opportunities for movement or calming breaks where they can meet their sensory needs and explore mindfulness strategies and yoga.
