We are looking for a supply staff to join our childcare team. We have a short-term, full-time position available from January 2-30, 2026. The successful candidate can expect to work Monday-Friday 8 hrs/day for this period. After this, shifts will vary and will be on an as-needed basis. Advance notice of shifts will be provided where possible, but last-minute shifts may arise as well.
The ideal candidate will be friendly, flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to accept shifts at both our Mississauga and Port Credit locations if desired, or may choose to be designated to a specific location.
Duties include supervising children, supporting educators with daily routines such as washrooms, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Experience in childcare is not required, but is strongly recommended. RECE candidates will also have access to CWELCC funding.
Requirements:
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (must be within the last 6 months)
- Up To Date Immunizations, including TB Test taken in the last 6 months.
