Job Description

We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic child care staff to join our team. Our centres offer a distinct program immersed in nature and with a creative focus on art, music, movement and expression. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for outdoor learning, nature, the arts and working with children!

We are looking for staff who would be available for supply. This position is an ideal position for someone who is pursuing post-secondary education and looking for a part time job. We are flexible to work other job schedule as we understand the need for consistency as well as with school schedules.

Shifts may be scheduled ahead of time, few days before, day before or day of as it depends on the company's needs.

*Able to work between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm (Hours based on families needs)
*Monday to Friday

Reports to centre supervisor

Responsibilities:
Provide quality care to children ages 6 months to 5 years Actively engage with children and ensure supervision & safety at all times Plans and implements programming based on centre philosophy and District of Muskoka Quality care tool requirements Complete documentation of learning experiences/observations of the children Complete child care centre app updates (Lillio) Able to lift frequently (up to 50lbs) Willing and able to work outside for at least 2 hours per day year round
Requirements:
Over 18 years of age Up to date first aid & CPR "C" Successful Completion of Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check Up to date immunizations *Food Handler's not required but an asset - willing to obtain
*Cost of Standard First Aid and police check are covered by the company

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
