About the Role



We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful

Supply Chain Specialist

to support procurement, inventory, and logistics functions. This role will be responsible for

purchasing and vendor management

, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities



Act as a

buyer

for North American operations by managing purchasing activities based on store sales needs and supplier lead times to ensure timely supply of materials. Evaluate, develop, and maintain qualified suppliers while monitoring delivery, quality, and cost performance. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to optimize value. Oversee inventory control, including stock checks, safety stock strategies, and efficient warehouse operations. Coordinate logistics and transportation, selecting cost-effective carriers and resolving delivery issues. Develop procurement and seasonal stocking plans using sales data, forecasts, and cross-department coordination. Analyze supply chain data and track key performance indicators to support management decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills



Minimum 3-5 years of

buyer or procurement experience

in supply chain, logistics, or related functions. Experience in retail, food & beverage, or multi-location operations is an asset. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to interpret and act on supply chain data. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are an asset. Ability to travel occasionally within North America for supplier and site visits.
