We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing supply chain operations, enhancing process efficiencies, and supporting overall manufacturing excellence. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies such as SAGE ERP, Sales Force, Zoho, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and supply chain analytics/Logistics to drive continuous improvement across our organization.
Duties
Analyze supply chain data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Manage procurement activities including purchasing, vendor relations, and inventory control to ensure seamless material flow.
Coordinate demand planning and production scheduling utilizing MRP systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP to meet manufacturing requirements.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies and develop corrective action plans.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, manufacturing, and procurement to optimize supply chain performance.
Support the integration of ERP systems and other supply chain management software to enhance data accuracy and operational visibility.
Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies for inventory management that align with production planning needs.
Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma tools to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAGE/MiSYs ERP or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles including logistics, procurement, demand planning, and inventory control.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and supply chain analytics platforms.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
Experience with MRP systems (e.g., SAP ERP, Oracle EBS) and production planning processes.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for complex supply chain issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field; certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
