The Supply Chain Performance Reporting Assistant (SCP Assistant) generates and maintains regularly scheduled reports and vessel forecasting performance scorecards in support of the VFPA's supply chain optimization reporting program. This position administers the Truck Wait Time Program by consolidating information, distributing reports to terminal operators, and supporting the processing of truck wait-time payments. Additionally, the SCP Assistant works with internal team members and external consultants to support system enhancements, reporting or technical issues. Performs other related duties, as required.



What you do:



Generate and maintain the accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain data and reports. Prepare and distribute monthly gateway performance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and distribute weekly vessel forecasting and monthly program performance scorecards to internal and external stakeholders. Assist with data or performance analysis and ad-hoc data requests for external stakeholders (e.g., BCMEA, terminals and railways) Coordinate the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closing of regular supply chain performance related reports. Work closely with the Marine Operations, VFPA Security and Industry stakeholders. Coordinate reporting activities as per the approved schedule. Post on VFPA website, the daily supply chain performance reports for external port users. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of vessel on-time reports and ocean carrier scorecards. Produce ad-hoc reports and provide analysis upon requests with collaboration of SCO business analyst on testing reporting system enhancements. Work with internal team members, Information Systems, and/or third party consultants/service providers on testing of various supply chain reporting system enhancements. Maintain Container Examination Visibility System (CEVS) reporting and troubleshoot issues. Coordinate the preparation and distribution of weekly import vessel forecasts to terminal operators and railways. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the forecasts and work with third party vendor to resolve. Coordinate the monthly processing of truck wait time information and distribute to the terminal operators for review. These activities include but not limited to, consolidating, validating, troubleshooting data, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring:



Must have 1-year full-time post-secondary studies in logistics or business, along with a minimum of 1-year experience working with high volumes of data and the preparation of multiple reports, along with a minimum of 6 months experience working with third party vendors on the maintenance and support of legacy reporting systems. Must have a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and VFPA reporting tool. Must be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively and positively with both staff and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to analyze and interpret supply chain data are essential for this position. Must have excellent organizational skills and flexibility to perform a diverse set of tasks.
