Position Summary The Supply Chain & Customer Service Coordinator is primarily accountable for purchasing and managing the inventory of parts for Allanson Lighting Technologies. This role is also responsible for processing purchase orders and responding to customer inquiries. As well as managing the administration of warranties for Allanson Lighting Technologies products. Position Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Source, complete purchasing requisitions and purchase parts from overseas and local suppliers \xc2\xb7 Coordinate and arrange shipments of parts to manufacturers \xc2\xb7 Manage ALT inventory by conducting counts and tracking any discrepancies \xc2\xb7 Process purchase orders (POs) received from ALT customers \xc2\xb7 Respond to customer inquiries on products, POs and shipments \xc2\xb7 Manage warranty administration for ALT products \xc2\xb7 Send acknowledgement and tracking information of shipments * All other duties as assigned Position Specific Behaviours \xc2\xb7 Inclined to be patient and easy going. \xc2\xb7 Will likely be good at, and enjoy, routine work. \xc2\xb7 Basically logical, task oriented and analytical. \xc2\xb7 Likely to think through a problem and weigh the pros and cons. \xc2\xb7 Can maintain a balance between being independent and compliant. \xc2\xb7 Can follow rules but is also capable of showing some initiative. \xc2\xb7 Can maintain a balance between being competitive yet accommodating. \xc2\xb7 Can work in a team but is also capable of facing a bit of healthy competition. Qualifications & Skills \xc2\xb7 Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain or equivalent work experience \xc2\xb7 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a manufacturing environment \xc2\xb7 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in customer service, purchasing, inventory management and/or coordination of logistics or supply chain management \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint \xc2\xb7 Experience using an ERP system, MACOLA an asset \xc2\xb7 Self-motivated \xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Superior communication skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule:
