Job Description

The Supply chain coordinator is responsible for site Supply Chain activities in support of Operations and Customer Service requirements. This includes responsibility for driving business processes related to the site Supply Chain; ownership and improvement to Inbound process, Inventory Control, 5s, GMP's, Leadership, and Scheduling Decision Support.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for site Logistics activities including: Material movements in support of Production, load receiving, Transaction Accuracy, and Maintaining site standards for Safety and GMPs Owns site inventory management and coordinates safe and controlled transfer of materials into and around the site A hear to Allergen requirements storage in racks and on site. In partnership with the Inventory control coordinator, Shift Coordinator and Shift Manager assure that the shift operation adheres to schedule while keeping to safety and Quality requirements Provide the financial impact of scrap and cycle-count transactions working to minimize site costs Lead the transaction reconciliation process for large variances and support Operators with recommendations for corrective action Champion accuracy of site physical inventories Collaborates with other shifts and management in order to optimize material inventories on hand in order to remain Lean but assure no impact to efficiency Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Manage raw and packs Holds activities Manage Foods specific storage and active use trailer pool Partners with the Inventory control coordinator, Shift Coordinator and the Shift Manager to assure alignment in practices with the other shifts. Manage Finished goods Hold activities Understand WMS system for finished goods (Blue Yonder) Active members and leaders in either the JHSC or food defense program Perform additional related duties as required
