The Role:



Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Lead, the Supply Chain Associate plays an integral part in the day-to-day operations at Bench. The Supply Chain Associate handles shipping, receiving and material movements and supports procurement and inventory activities. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast paced and innovative craft brewery.

Responsibilities and Duties



Assess inventory levels at our third party distributor to determine weekly shipping needs, create BOLs and coordinate deliveries Manage shipping & receiving, primarily at our brewery location Support Brewing and Packaging teams with material movement and staging Conduct monthly inventory counts for raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods Execute ERP transactions including good receipts, inventory adjustments, transfers, purchase orders Provide contract partners with inventory snapshots on a weekly basis Coordinate pick-ups/deliveries on behalf of contract partners Assist procurement with inventory management and ordering of items, particularly non-inventoried supplies Coordinate pick-ups/deliveries for miscellaneous items such as totes, pallets Support activities at off-site warehouse including end of day organization/staging, dunnage preparation, vacation coverage etc. Support packaging activities including keg washing, unloading, palletizing, mix packing etc. Follow all health and safety requirements Other duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:



2+ years of forklift experience, including loading/unloading trailers, material movements Experience working as a shipper/receiver or material handler is a strong asset Experience with Microsoft excel, ERP experience is an asset Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail The ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple departments University or College degree related to supply chain management, logistics or procurement is an asset Demonstrated passion for and interest in beer and craft brewing is a plus Flexibility in schedule
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
