Supply Chain Assistant Manager (In Pharmaceuticals) (FULL TIME) Company Description: Attix Pharmaceuticals is a service provider for licensed distributors in North America. Our licensed distributors supply a full line of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutraceuticals, peptides, cosmetic ingredients, natural herbal extracts as well as specialty excipients. Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day tasks of the procurement / purchasing team
- Manage complete supply chain of products, inventory and purchase orders
- Make purchasing plans by collecting, analyzing marketing data and trends
- Resolve any issues related to the whole supply chain (products, inventory, orders, etc.)
- Seek and build strong relationships with vendors
- Negotiate pricing with vendors
- Other duties as assigned
- Applicants must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Strong background in supply chain management. Minimum 3-year experience as purchasing manager in sourcing and purchasing in the pharmaceutical, pharmacy, food and cosmetic industries or similar industries
- Continuously review current systems and procedures and make suggestions for improvements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills
- Strong logical and creative thinking skills
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to work independently and efficiently in a team environment
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel, with strong keyboarding skills
- Strong time management, interpersonal and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task
- Minimum university degree
- University Degree
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Bachelor\'s Degree (required)
