As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for demand planning including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, developing forecast models, collaborating with sales on all product supply inquiries, liaising with mill production planning teams to find solutions to meet customer demand. Having a positive impact on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) will be crucial to your role.

The life of the Supply Chain Analyst includes the following:

  • Generate and maintain critical supply and demand files for all planning horizons
  • Implement initiatives with Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Sales to maximize profit with strategic processes and identify additional revenue and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Field all request-for-inquiry and request-for-quote from our Offshore, North American, and Specialty sales teams
  • Work with the Operations, Secondary Manufacturing, and Reman teams on supply solutions
  • Generate reports, identify trends in demand and supply, and provide support in scenario planning and Sales & Operations Planning process.
For this role, come equipped with:
  • Post-secondary Business Degree (preferably focused on Wood Science or Supply Chain).
  • Strong computer skills and a solid background working with modern office software and reporting tools
  • Forward-thinking and innovative, with an ability to research, analyze and evaluate components of supply chain processes.
Ideally, you have previous experience in the lumber or pulp industry, manufacturing, or supply chain management. You also have two-four years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics.
