Position Description

As a member of the Stores and Receiving team, you will provide supplies distribution service throughout the Hospital in a timely, efficient and orderly manner. As the Supply Cart Aide, you will also provide a high standard of safety and customer service to departments while being aware and responsive to the safety handling of all supplies and equipment. Shifts: Weekdays-MON-FRI from 07:00-15:00 or 12:00-20:00. Weekends- SAT-SUN from 08:00-16:00 or 12:00-20:00. Long weekends and Statutory Holidays: from 08:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00 Although this posting indicates an initial area of assignment and shift, the Hospital reserves the right to assign to other areas of assignment and shifts as deemed necessary. Here\'s What You\'ll Get To Do

• Respond promptly to service requests.
• Perform all duties according to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Perform inventory counts on nursing carts for restocking.
• Replenish nursing unit supply carts.
• Perform supply order picking duties
• Follow all supply management procedures.
• Participate in cycle and physical inventory counts.
• Help maintain Main Stores in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain Nursing supply carts in a clean and orderly manner.
• Notify Supply Cart Coordinator of any supply discrepancies.
• Assists Stores and Receiving porters when necessary.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Here\'s What You\'ll Need

• Minimum Education Required: (grade 12 or equivalent)
• Ability to work with numbers and familiar with supply replenishment processes.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English
• Attention to accuracy and detail is required.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team setting and in a children\'s hospital environment.
