Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Travel to supplier locations to assess potential new suppliers
• Conduct supplier audits aimed at ensuring supplier compliance with IATF16949
• Understand supplier processes & controls
• Drive supplier quality continuous improvement activities
• Address supplier quality non-conformances by documenting, issuing and monitoring supplier corrective action reports (SNCR\'s)
• Assist suppliers in root cause analysis
• Perform corrective action verification activities
• Coordinate returns and/or repair of defective supplier product
• Maintain supplier performance metrics
• Assist in development of overall supplier quality for new, changing & existing products
• Aid in the maintenance of supplier information records (including QMS registration & CQI status as required)
• Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics
• Other duties as assigned
• Able to complete hands on work requiring heavy lifting
• Support and participate in all continuous improvement projects
• Liaison with internal and external customers
• Other duties as required

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
• 2 years\' experience in quality related automotive manufacturing environment
• Computer efficiency skills in all required areas (MS Office)
• Working knowledge of all employment regulations requirements, blueprint reading, IATF16949 Awareness, and 5S Awareness
