Position Overview


The Supplier Experience and Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with diverse suppliers and partners to drive strategic collaborations and mutual growth opportunities. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and nurturing partnerships that align with the organization's goals and values. The Supplier Experience & Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in expanding the organization's network, certifying diverse suppliers, coaching staff, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities



Supplier Experience & Engagement:

Develop, coordinate, and implement institutional certification offerings, recruitment, engagement and retention plans for suppliers . Track and report certification and partner performance and measure the impact of collaborations through defined metrics and KPIs. Cultivate and foster relationships with suppliers, learn about their priorities for participation in CAMSC and develop related initiatives. Coordinate the development and support of supplier-driven activities and supplier-focused special projects/events. Manage relationships with partners and contractors as it relates to services to clients directly. Coordinate and facilitate with the Supplier Committee and member-driven working groups to ensure the most current resources and information are disseminated. Develop and update supplier focused communication materials in collaboration with the marketing and communications team. Develop relationships and engage with partners with the intent of increasing recruitment of suppliers, and liaising with the Corporate Member team. Review, validate and process supplier certifications and recertifications to meet organization goals.
Managerial:

Develop, manage and implement the strategic plan and annual budget. Refine, develop, and implement organization-wide operational systems and processes. Participate in CAMSC management responsibilities inclusive of collaborating with internal teams. Supervise department staff, students, interns, and volunteers, as required. Recruit and train students, interns, volunteers, as required. Other duties as required.
Event Support:

Collaborate with Events team to support event production and sponsorship outreach. Attend events to engage with suppliers.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. At least two years of experience in managing teams (preferably in the not-for-profit sector). Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and foster win-win partnerships. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify partnership opportunities aligned with organizational objectives. Financial acumen considered an asset. Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze partnership performance data and identify improvement areas. Excel skills is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft365, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other project management tools. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced, customer-focused environment that continues to grow.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
