Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Line Cook to oversee kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced culinary environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for food service excellence. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Prior experience in fine dining, menu planning, and food industry operations is highly valued.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision and consistency Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on food preparation, knife skills, and food handling Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and portion control to optimize quality and cost-efficiency Coordinate catering orders and special event meal preparations Ensure timely service of meals while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Uphold excellent customer service by ensuring guest satisfaction through quality food and professional service

Qualifications



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurant or catering settings Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a kitchen environment preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of the food industry standards for hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
