We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation and cooking processes.
Manage team members by providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records using POS systems, including Micros POS.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
Foster a positive customer service experience by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Implement training programs for new hires on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.
Skills
Proven supervisory experience in the food service or hospitality industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and development.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Restaurant experience is essential; barista or hotel experience is a plus.
