We are looking for a Supervisor to be responsible for the day-to-day organization and direction of all production and development activities of a designated shift to meet or exceed production goals in a safe, cost effective and environmentally sound manner. The role is based in Labrador City, NL.

Reporting to the ATO Superintendent, you will:
  • Be Actively participating in IOC\'s safety program and role model appropriate safety behaviours (safety observations, group safety talks, planned general inspections, accident/incident investigations, etc.)
  • Ensure personnel, equipment and work areas are in compliance with all safety policies and regulations by providing required training, tools and monitoring.
  • Develop and promote a positive employee relations environment within the operations crew and across shifts.
  • Provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance required to achieve safety and production targets and minimize, identify and eliminate situations that could cause equipment damage.
  • Maximize crew and employee performance and safety through training and matching of employee experience to daily equipment allocation and priorities.
  • Provide consistency between shifts through timely setup of and by informing the oncoming shift of pertinent operating conditions.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Production and/or Maintenance Supervisory role
  • Strong work management execution history
  • Strong safety focus and willingness to enforce safety protocols and procedures
  • Minimum of a Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
  • Experience using SAP for work management is an asset
  • Trade certification (Journeyperson) or Engineering/Engineering Technology Diploma would be also considered an asset
