• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Tasks

Ensure availability of supplies and equipment Assist in the establishment of unit policies and procedures Assist in the selection, evaluation and professional development of personnel Ensure that quality nursing care is provided and that appropriate administrative procedures are followed Set up and co-ordinate nursing services in conjunction with other health services Supervise registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and other nursing personnel
